Who we are

At Second Chances Church we believe that God gives us second chances at life, a do over if you will. We believe no matter what your past has been God is always willing to give us a second chance to accept HIS gift of salvation. People may not forgive us, but God always will, if we ask. Second Chances is affiliated with the Assemblies of God.

This church was built in 1961 and its vision has never really changed, it’s always been a church that was set here to reach the surrounding community, the surrounding state, and to the ends of the earth. Our goal here is to love people and love Jesus. We believe God’s intention is for all people to come to Him for forgiveness and salvation. We believe in accepting people right where they are just as Jesus did.

Our focus here at 2nd Chances Church is to seek people who have never had a relationship with Christ and people that have been hurt by people in the past. Our goal is to see all people come into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ and the rest of God’s people.
