LEAD PASTOR

Pastor Jasen completed Illinois School of Ministry and was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 2021. He was called to ministry at 14 years old and has not looked back since. He has served in various roles in his ministry including janitor, leading worship, directing the media team, Next Gen Pastor and now Lead Pastor. He has a love and passion for the Riverbend community and he loves hanging out with people of all ages.

Jasen grew up in Kansas and has been married to his high school sweetheart, Becca for 16 years. They have 3 beautiful, vibrant children- Josiah, their miracle baby (ask him about this testimony), Evy Jo, and RaeLeigh. Together Becca and Jasen have a passion for having friends over, cooking, and really doing life with people. Pastor Jasen enjoys building things, flipping houses, fixing things that are broken and making them new, traveling, good music and summertime.

WORSHIP LEADER

Becca has been volunteering in worship since the age of 14. Her passion is quiet, intimate, personal time with Jesus. She has a degree in Occupational Therapy and loves helping children learn and grow. Since the birth of her last child, she has enjoyed being a full time stay at home mom.

Becca married Pastor Jasen, her high school sweetheart in 2009. They have 3 beautiful children and a goldendoodle they love named Teddy! Becca loves drawing, Bible journaling, coloring, baking, entertaining, decorating and designing for their flip house business. Like Pastor Jasen, Becca loves seeing transformation from old to new. Whether its a heart for Jesus, a crusty flip house! And while Jasen’s favorite season is summer, Becca loves all things fall & winter!

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

April has served in various kid’s ministry roles for over 10 years. She has a passion for teaching children the Word of God and loves to spark the creativity that every child has within. April has been married to her husband Trevor for 10 years. They have a special fur baby named “Minga”. She grew up locally in Jersey County and graduated from Jersey Community High School. April graduated with a degree in drafting and design and still uses her creative gifts in her spare time. She enjoys all things art and particularly loves working with stained glass. She also loves all things LEGO, and you can easily spot her home in Godfrey, as there are flamingos everywhere! April also loves to bake; her specialty is gooey butter cake cookies.
